Histological Analysis in Psychiatry

Inquiry

Ace Therapeutics has extensive experience in the pathology of psychiatric disorders. With years of experience in handling paraffin and frozen sections, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and digital pathology, we are experts in the field of histology of psychiatric disorders.

Introduction of Histological Analysis in Psychiatry

Psychiatric diseases are often studied without corresponding experimental animal disease models and ex vivo studies. Histological analysis is the first step after constructing a disease model and sampling tissues. This process symbolizes the development of experiments from in vitro to in vitro, from macroscopic observations of behavior to in-depth studies of pathology, cell biology, and molecular biology. In recent years, reports on the histopathology of schizophrenia have shown changes in markers of many neurotransmitter systems in the brains of schizophrenic patients, including the dopaminergic, serotonergic, cholinergic, glutamatergic, and aminobutyric systems of the central nervous system. Histological analysis of psychiatry can facilitate the discovery of common neurobiological and cellular mechanisms associated with cortical thickness differences in multiple psychiatric disorders.

Histological Analysis Services

Ace Therapeutics has extensive experimental experience and a cutting-edge theoretical foundation in psychiatric research, and can provide a full range of histological services from sample preparation to detailed and reliable study reports for clients worldwide. Our complete and stable histological analyses can evaluate different parameters of the nerve to ensure the results of your complex front-end experiments and provide a sound basis for the success of your subsequent psychiatric studies.

For histological analysis, we can provide the following services:

We offer standard histochemical stains as well as complex multiplex immunohistochemical markers. We offer a wide range of stains for different species of brain tissue and other tissues such as Nissl, H&E, Campbell Switzer Silver, Bielschowsky Silver, Thioflavin S, Congo Red, DAPI, etc. We use numerous antibodies individually or in combination to achieve a comprehensive analysis of neurochemical systems such as dopamine, glutamate, serotonin, and gamma-aminobutyric acid.

We are committed to providing a full range of histology services. We perform routine paraffin processing, embedding, sectioning and staining using standard histological methods, including specific positioning of tissues, serial and/or step sections, and a range of immunocytochemical analyses. We provide histological processing and staining services related to psychiatric disorders using a variety of unique tracers designed for the localization of specific anatomical structures and pathologies.

We offer custom in situ hybridisation (ISH) services, including probe design, tissue procurement and professionally interpreted gene expression studies. Our scientists are highly trained in ISH and can bring you highly sensitive nucleic acid detection in your samples to accelerate your research in psychiatry.

We offer clients a full suite of digital pathology services, including slide scanning, quantitative slide analysis, and custom development of image analysis algorithms. We work closely with our clients to determine the best digital pathology approach for their psychiatric research questions and will develop custom solutions when needed.

Ace Therapeutics selects the right histology services for your research needs and provides high quality testing services for your study. If you are interested, please make an inquiry with a description of your specific needs and we will be happy to assist you.
