Safety Evaluation Testing

Drug safety evaluation includes safety pharmacology tests, single-dose toxicity tests, repeated-dose toxicity tests, toxicokinetic tests, reproductive toxicity tests, genotoxicity tests, carcinogenicity tests, local toxicity tests, immunogenicity tests, and other evaluation tests. Safety Pharmacology Testing

Safety pharmacology focuses on the study of adverse effects of drugs on the central nervous system, cardiovascular system, and respiratory system at doses within or above the therapeutic range. Ace Neuroscience provides different experimental animals as well as safety pharmacology testing services to investigate the effects of drugs on the central nervous system, respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and others to support drug development.

Toxicology Testing

Ace Neuroscience has established well-established and comprehensive assay protocols for toxicity testing of stroke drug candidates. We have established a variety of toxicity testing animal models to provide comprehensive coverage of stroke drug candidate toxicity testing.

  • Single-Dose Toxicity Testing

We offer single dose toxicity testing in mice, rats, dogs, non-human primates, and other animals. Toxicity reactions and mortality are observed after a single dose or after multiple doses over a 24-hour period.

  • Repeated-Dosing Toxicity Testing

We provide mice, rats, dogs, non-human primates, and other animals for repeated-dosing toxicity testing. Repeated dosing at higher doses for longer periods of time is used to examine the toxicity profile of the animals after receiving the drug.

  • Reproductive Toxicity Testing

We provide mice, rats, rabbits, and other animals for reproductive toxicity testing. We observe the effects of drug candidates on mammalian reproductive functions and developmental processes, and predict the possible adverse effects on germ cells, conception, pregnancy, delivery, and reproductive functions of the parental generation, as well as on the embryonic, fetal, and postnatal development of the offspring.

  • Genotoxicity Testing

We use a series of in vitro and in vivo tests to examine the harmful effects of drug candidates on the structure and function of biological cells, leading to changes in the genetic information of the organism.

  • Carcinogenicity Testing

We provide mice, rats, and other animals to test whether a drug candidate induces a risk of tumor development in animals.

  • Local Toxicity Testing

We provide tests in mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other animals to observe the irritation of drug candidates at the site of administration such as skin, mucous membrane, eye, muscle, and subcutaneous.

  • Immunogenicity & Immunotoxicity Testing

We have designed a series of immunological tests or combined with general toxicity tests to evaluate the effects of drug candidates on the immune system, including but not limited to active systemic allergic reactions, passive skin allergic reactions, etc. in rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and other animals based on the characteristics of the drug candidates.

  • Special Safety Testing

We offer hemolysis tests, phototoxicity tests, and other tests for special safety testing.
